Nursery
FBC KIDS NURSERY
The FBC Kids Nursery is a fun and safe environment that we offer for babies and toddlers from birth to age 2 during our 9:20 and 11:00 a.m. services. Through the love of caring volunteers, little ones begin to discover these three basic truths: God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever. Our nursery check-in counter is located just inside FBC's north entrance. Next to the nursery, there is also a quiet room set aside exclusively for use by nursing mothers.
Right beside our nursery is an unsupervised nursery area for parents to use with their children as well as a nursing mothers room.
POLICIES PARENTS SHOULD KNOW
Safe Play
Children may only be checked in and dropped off in the nursery, preschool or elementary rooms when approved ministry personnel are present. Please do not leave children unsupervised in any of our rooms.
Ministry Personnel Only
In order to ensure the safest environment and best experience for each child, only approved ministry personnel who have been through our screening process will be permitted to enter the nursery area. Exceptions will be made only when parent assistance is required (see below).
Parent Care
If a parent’s care is required for his or her child in the nursery, the parent will be permitted to enter and care for the child as necessary at the request of an approved ministry personnel. Visitors to the nursery are asked to wear a visitor tag and are not permitted to care for other children in the nursery. Parents and visitors are requested not to enter the nursery when picking up their child unless asked to do so.
Health and Wellbeing
A child who is ill and could therefore expose others to illness will not be received into the nursery. Children who show symptoms such as fever, excessive coughing, discharging nose and eyes, vomiting/diarrhea, etc. are not permitted to enter the nursery for the safety and health of other children and volunteers.
Diapering Procedures
Parents are asked to please inform us on the check-in label of any specific diapering instructions that apply to each child. Topical medications for diaper changing purposes (i.e. diaper creams, baby powder, etc.) will be used only when instructed and provided by the parent or guardian.
registration & CHECK-IN
To ensure the safety of every child, we ask parents to accompany their child to the appropriate FBC Kids room to check them in at the beginning of the program each week. Check-in opens 15 minutes prior to the start of each service. Upon check-in, each child will receive a check-in sticker, which they will wear on their person throughout the duration of the program. The parent will be given a matching sticker to keep with them and return after the service in order to check their child out of the program.
We are launching a new digital check in system. You can pre-register your children by clicking the button below which will save you time when you arrive for FBC Kids. This button will also allow you to update your family or children's information.
If your child has severe medical needs please also complete the Emergency Medications Request and Release Form as well.
